All children are expected to wear school uniform. This includes their PE kit.
Children will need to bring their kit into school on the days when PE is taught which can be hung in a bag on their coat pegs. They will change into their kit at the start of the lesson. This is a key part to developing children’s self-care and independence.
At Alumwell Infant School, a PE kit consists of:

A red t-shirt/ polo shirt

This can easily be kept in a drawstring bag.

| Black pumps (not trainers with chunky heels)

Please make sure your child’s kit is labelled with their name. If they forget their kit, we do have spare kit in school for them to change into. Children are expected to take part in PE just as they do all subjects.
For safety, all jewellery should be removed for PE lessons and Sports Club.
